The Program is one of the premiere graduate programs in the humanities in Europe. Forma de Vida is curious about how professors and students associated with the Program understand the relationship between philosophy and literature. Is there a viable field that can be constituted as Philosophy and Literature? We asked for essay submissions of approximately 250 words over about this topic and we now publish those texts.

Number 21 of Forma de Vida is illustrated with works by Bruno Dias Vieira. Portuguese born, based in Lisbon, he graduated in Painting at Faculdade Belas-Artes de Lisboa. His work assumes provisional forms, moving conceptually between drawing, photography, and writing. He collaborates regularly with Forma de Vida, where he writes about art.
